Lots of Writing You Probably Won't Take The Time...
The universe has been persistently trying to fuck my day over. It started off with a depressing dream - two in fact, but one was more weird than depressing, in which I had apparently forgotten how to drive and had lost all of our clothes on a road trip in a crash - and then - no, wait, it was just my clothes, in fact, and I was driving some kind of camper van - and then a severe lack of...

Second Update on Fried Cheese And Pepperoni...
Pepperoni may have been out of date. Feel a bit sick now. Let’s hope Rennie solves all.

Update on Fried Cheese And Pepperoni Sandwich
Could do with less heart attack. Nevertheless, I am a culinary pioneer.

Never has something been so awesome and awful at...
I’ve just found out that the next Transformers movie (yes, there will be more) won’t be a reboot. Michael Bay won’t be directing, or producing it, or just throwing grenades in front of a camera or whatever he did, and Shia the beef won’t be screaming incessantly any more, but there will be more films in the same canon. This saddens me to my very core. The first three...

Jurassic Park
I watched it earlier. There are a few things that bug me, after watching from a more mature point of view, but one in particular astounds me. This giant island-sized zoo filled with dinosaurs is manned by only 4 people over night. There’s no one patrolling at night. There’s the owner, who knows fuck all about anything; the hunter, who is good hunting one dinosaur, but apparently any...

Lack Of Motivation Spurs Procrastination Blog
I was feeling down earlier and was considering writing some depressing poetry. Yes, it was that bad. I’ve not done that in years. Since I realised I can stop being sad and simply be awesome instead (I’ve really got to stop quoting How I Met Your Mother), some four years back, which coincidentally is when puberty really began to sink its teeth in, songs have been harder to write as they...

WatchWatch
oddshoelaces: lltheportmanteau: A little backstory to this clip before you watch it: Will Smith’s father abandoned him and his mother when he was a child, and when Will was finally getting into show business and making a name for himself, he tried to sneak his way back into his life like nothing happened. Will co-wrote this episode, and James Avery (Uncle Phil) said “this scene was the...

Irish Comedy Might Be a Teeny Bit Better Than...
I think Dara O’Briain is my favourite stand-up comedian now. I’ve watched three of his stand-ups in the past 3 days, and I haven’t laughed so hard in an eternity. It’s a mixture of his accent, the interaction with the audience that implies it’s all off the top of his head, and the intelligence behind the comedy. The man has a science degree, for Notch’s sake,...

Blink
Try as I might, I just cannot bring myself to love the new Blink 182 album as I know I should. It just sounds like an Angels and Airwaves album with Mark Hoppus doing backing vocals. Then again, as I say this, it is growing on me, but it’ll never be a Blink 182 or an Enema of the State.  Nevertheless, Travis is still ace.
