Photography isn't an Art
I find it amusing how photography is considered an art form. Most other mediums art of involve some sort of actual creation, like painting, drawing, composing, sculpting, etc. Photography is just pointing at something that looks pretty and clicking. I can do that.
But Ben, there’s the lighting, and the positioning, and the choice of material!

The Day The Rancor Didn't Come Home
It was a long, hot day on Tatooine.
Mrs Rancor hadn’t had it easy. The washing machine was playing up, she couldn’t find the brush extension for the hoover, despite not knowing for the life of her of its uses, and little baby Randy wasn’t feeding properly and burst into sobbing fits every five minutes. To make matters worse, some jackass had parked his spaceship right by the...

Unusually Depressing, For An Optimist
Ill.
Too tired to even begin contemplating what possible bullshit I could spew on this post.
I’ll see how tomorrow feels.
Maybe a good old lie in is all I need.
Or some kind of purpose.
Only time will tell.
Unless he’s feeling secretive, in which case this might not be true.
Is time an open kind of personification?
I’ve never heard anyone say “Time has told”...

Pointless, Meaningless, Obsolete Rant
One thing that really makes me want to leave a bullet wound in the side of society’s skull originates from the simple greeting phrase “you okay?”. This, on first glances, is a closed question - the only two answers one should give are “yes, I am okay” or “no, I am not okay”. I follow this guideline. Granted, one can be neither here nor there, so I am...
And On That Day, Not A Single F*ck Was Given
The dogs in my house are multiplying. Upon returning from work on Saturday evening, walking up the drive I noticed an odd fluffy tail slapping against the living room blinds. I knew it wasn’t Brian, that mutt’s practically a baldy. Using my expert skills of deduction, I surveyed the scene: no new cars outside, so it’s no-one with a dog just visiting. This narrowed it down to, as...
At Ryan's
I made a new CD for my car today consisting of twenty or so mash-ups from Milkman and Super Mash Bros. The main ingredient, vocally speaking, of these tracks are of a rap nature, so rollin’ up to Ryan’s house made me feel quite G what with some random black guy spittin’ bars over some sick beats. Then, out of the corner of my eye in the rear view mirror, I spot the message which...

WARNING: Not For The Faint Of Heart
I have received my first request for a blog topic, so tonight I shall be informing the good public of the terror and torment that comes from people such as Mafia Mike, who I shall explain to you shortly.
Recently, my good friend Jake has been stricken by a severe case of shit computer. His dilemma began as a minor issue; his laptop was not enough to play the games he so desired to play, and he...
www.ednesday.com
Yes, people, it is finally that time of the week again - Wednesday! And you know what we all enjoy doing on a Wednesday? Pondering about how far away Friday still feels!
Two more days until a week off for seven days of… work. And sleep. And work. And sleep. Although saying that, now that I actually have dire need of money, knowing my luck I will probably have a minimum amount of shifts...
Followers, Faulty Cars and First Class
I’m not sure whether I keep getting new followers because they actually want to read my posts or because they expect me to follow them in return, but chances are I’m not going to, unless it is writing based or at least has some form of culture other than pointless photography and funny GIFs. I follow Smosh on Facebook for that.
I reckon that could lower my slowly developing follower...

Spongebob And Wolverine Kick Arse - Together?
After glossing over the two names in a list of possible protagonists for a gigantic crossover story, I am now absolutely certain that a story teaming up the raw power and insane mentality of Wolverine and bubbly childishness and insane mentality of Spongebob Squarepants could be one of the most amazing things to ever grace the Earth. I have no idea what context the story would have, or the...

When Worlds Collide (In Ben's Mind)
I really would like to read something that has all my favourite characters from all mediums I have come across all in one big mash-up of a plot line. I think I mentioned this a few days ago, but it’s been dragging across my mind a lot of late, so I’m mentioning it again.
The thing about this desire is that there is a very slim chance of any writer in the world sharing my taste in...
I'm Quite Good At Pissing People Off, This...
I’ve got fifteen minutes or so before I leave for Ryan’s so I thought I’d check in with my favourite Tumblr community.
Today has certainly been amusing. Work isn’t usually too bad, but it’s not exactly the most fun place on Earth, but today was quite good. Despite the enormous queues, long shift and sweltering heat of the grills, I had quite a good day. Probably the...

Someone do me a favour and find me two more followers. I’ve been at 29 for ages, well, 28 now the most recent follower has left, and I would quite like to hit 30… before I die. Life goal? One off the bucket list if two people man up.
And that, for now, is it, as it is good television night, and this, in my socially stunted calendar, is very important. I need to get out more.

Title? What Title?
I’m attempting to write this blog earlier today in the hope that more people read it before it’s washed away by tomorrow tide of posts then everyone seems to have. I’m very uncluttered on Tumblr - only two or three of people I’m following post more than once every other day, so I find it easy to catch up on the good stuff I’ve missed throughout the day. Everyone else,...

I forgot to do it last time, but this chick helped me get two extra followers, and now I’m almost at thirty, so I feel I should return the favour. Follow sawah-.tumblr.com because she amuses me, and so she should amuse you too. I’m pretty sure she has more followers than me though, so you don’t have to. If anything, she owes me more. I want more. Damn new age society not liking...
Stay Happy or Over and Out?
It has been a whole weekend and a bit since my last blog, and I feel like I’m letting my loyal followers (Mathew Whitehead) down. So I shall now attempt to write something, on a random topic, which could take a while to decide on, so I could be here for a while. I really didn’t think this through.
I feel that this is an open place for me to talk, so I can freely admit that is very...
Today's Examples Of Easy Amusement
Today has had several examples of just how easily amused I am. After leaving mathematics first lesson, I had a free period with Hollie and Jake. On Tuesday, in a similar free period, Hollie hired me to type up some of her psychology work. Today I repeated this activity. It amuses me because I’m learning (today was all about pro-social stuff, such as Sesame Street), she’s learning by...

Once U-pun A Time
Once u-pun a time, there was a man. Name is of no importance, but some would comment on his sheer forehead, so we’ll call him Cliff. Cliff was an ordinary man, with no extraordinary features, traits or talents. He once had a fear of hurdles, but he got over it.
One bright morning, Cliff woke with a ringing in his ear. After several moments attempting to bash the sounds out of his head,...
Monumental Post
The time has finally come. I knew this day would arrive eventually, I was just never sure how soon…
This is…
My sixty-ninth post.
I’ll just give you a moment for that to settle in, maybe have a little giggle, or even just give your screen a look of disgust at such an immature joke, even though we all know it has amused you in a small way.
I don’t really have much...
